The Electoral Act requires that objections be made publicly available in full. For further information, please read the Guidelines for Making Submissions to a Redistribution.
The objections will be published on this website on Monday 12 September 2011. Comments on the objections are then invited. Comments must be lodged by 6pm CST Friday 23 September 2011.
A redistribution of South Australia into House of Assembly (State) electoral districts will also commence this year. Enquiries about the State redistribution should be emailed to the Electoral Commission SA, EDBC.Secretary@sa.gov.au. The federal and state redistributions are separate exercises, governed by different legislation and timeframes.
