For the purposes of this report, each proposed Division is described by its component Local Government Areas (LGA). Each LGA comprises a number of Census Collection Districts as devised by the Australian Bureau of Statistics for the 1996 Census.
If an LGA is recorded without qualification, then the entire LGA is located completely within the proposed Division.
If an LGA is recorded with only the word '(part)', then that part of the LGA contained in a particular Division is wholly retained in, or transferred to, a proposed Division, as the case may be.
An LGA recorded as '(part .)' with one or more descriptive features, refers to an already divided LGA which is divided at a different location (as described) in a proposed Division.
