Remote voting locations, dates and times will be listed on this page once they have been confirmed.
Remote mobile voting teams at a federal election usually consist of 3 to 4 polling officials. They travel by car, plane, helicopter, or boat to many remote communities to collect people's votes. Most of the places these mobile voting teams visit are in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and Queensland. The mobile voting teams visit hundreds of communities nation-wide, many of these being remote Indigenous communities.
Remote voting will begin progressively from Monday 21 April 2025.
Closer to the commencement of voting, you can check on this page if a remote mobile voting team is visiting near you, and on what dates and times. The time listed will be in local time.
