Queensland
Named after a district name apparently originating from the fact that the Tropic of Capricorn passes through the area.
It covers an area of approximately 235 400 sq km from Collinsville in the north, the Capricorn Coast in the east and west to Winton. Nearby islands are also included in the division.
The City of Rockhampton and the towns of Alpha, Aramac, Barcaldine, Capella, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Emu Park, Glenden, Gracemere, Ilfracombe, Jericho, Longreach, Marlborough, Middlemount, Moranbah, Muttaburra, Nebo, Ogmore, St Lawrence, Winton and Yeppoon as well as Great Keppel Island are in this division.
Primary production, grains, beef cattle, grazing, fishing, coal mining, meat works, dairy products and tourism.
