The postal vote application (PVA) data in this spreadsheet includes all the PVAs received by the AEC for the 2016 federal election. The spreadsheet includes a breakdown of how the PVAs were received and a daily breakdown of when they were entered.
The pre-poll voting data in this spreadsheet includes all the pre-poll votes cast at pre-poll voting centres (PPVCs) and AEC divisional offices for the 2016 federal election. The spreadsheet includes a breakdown of the number of pre-poll votes issued at every PPVC and divisional office for every day of the pre-poll voting period. This spreadsheet has been updated to include final data.
This spreadsheet provides an indicative calculation of House of Representatives votes cast per SA1 at the 2016 federal election.
This download assists in the analysis of the geographic footprint of polling places. It uses roll mark-off data combined with polling place results to provide data by SA1s (the CCD column). It is a statistical dataset that is not directly comparable to vote counts due to rounding occurring in the data preparation.
This extract is using the ABS 2011 Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC), and comparison to the current ABS Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) may require concordance.
