The Republican Party of Australia was registered on 9 October 1992 and deregistered on 27 December 2006.
Reason: Application of Schedule 3 of the Electoral and Referendum Amendment (Electoral Integrity and Other Measures) Act 2006.
The Republican Party of Australia was re-registered on 9 July 2013 and deregistered on 15 February 2016. On 24 August 2016, the delegate's decision was affirmed by the three person Electoral Commission.
Reason: s.137(6) – failure to demonstrate requisite 500 members to maintain registration.
