This file provides a breakdown of referendum results by vote type (ordinary, absent, provisional, declaration pre-poll, and postal) for each electoral division.
The postal voting data available as a csv downloadable file will be updated daily to provide a cumulative total, by electoral division, of the number of postal vote applications (PVAs) processed by the AEC.
As the referendum progresses, this file will be updated to include the number of postal vote certificates (PVCs) returned to the AEC for the 2023 referendum. This data will be refreshed daily.
The pre-poll voting data in this spreadsheet includes all the pre-poll votes cast at pre-poll voting centres (PPVCs) for the 2023 referendum. The spreadsheet includes a breakdown of the number of pre-poll votes issued at every PPVC for every day of the pre-poll voting period. The votes issued include both ordinary and declaration votes. Declaration votes are grouped and counted separately by type. This data will be refreshed daily throughout the early voting period.

This download outlines which remote communities were visited by each remote voting services team. This information allows people to cross reference with the vote tallies of different remote voting teams that are on the division pages of the AEC tally room.
