Named after James Henry Scullin (1876–1953), Prime Minister of Australia (1929–1932).
It covers an area of approximately 104 sq km from Epping in the west to Greensborough in the east.
The main suburbs include Bundoora, Epping, Greensborough, Lalor, Mill Park, Plenty, South Morang and Thomastown.
