Cricketer and new Australian citizen Fawad Ahmed dropped into the Australian Electoral Commission's Victorian State office recently to complete his enrolment online and urged others to follow his lead saying: 'It is a privilege to enrol to vote today. I am proud I can help support a healthy democracy in Australia'.
The AEC acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters, culture and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
