Members of the public were invited to submit written comments on objections to the proposed redistribution from Monday 1 July 2024 to Friday 12 July 2024.

Comments on objections may concern one or more proposed electoral divisions and may be about:

  • which electoral division to abolish,
  • names of proposed electoral divisions,
  • boundaries of proposed electoral divisions, or
  • the names and boundaries of proposed electoral divisions.

Comments on objections must be received by the Victorian augmented Electoral Commission by 6pm AEST Friday 12 July 2024 to allow them to be considered.

All comments on objections received will be published on this page on Monday 15 July 2024.

Please note that while the names of persons and organisations that lodge written comments on objections will be published, signatures and personal address details (including email) will be removed prior to any publication.

Comments on objections will also be available to be viewed at the AEC office at Level 6, 150 Lonsdale Steet, Melbourne (please note you will need to call the Redistribution Secretariat on (03) 9968 5731 to make an appointment to gain access).
