7. Performance Improvement
7.1 The AEC and its employees jointly commit to improving AEC productivity by addressing the critical areas of improving business practices and processes, people management, information technology and workplace environment.
7.2 During this agreement, the AEC will focus on developing a more flexible workforce. The AEC will identify key roles and skills for the future and ensure organisational arrangements and structures for the future. The AEC will achieve this by workload sharing that ensures a more efficient and equitable distribution of workload. This is particularly important in light of recent additional workload stemming from legislative change.
