Members of the public are invited to submit written comments on suggestions for the redistribution of Queensland from Monday 19 October 2026.

It is recommended that individuals or organisations lodging comments on suggestions refer to the redistribution criteria used by the Redistribution Committee.

In developing a submission regarding the boundaries of federal electorates, it is strongly recommended that members of the public consider the redistribution and projected enrolment quotas as these form two key elements that underpin the redistribution.

Submissions must be received by the Queensland Redistribution Committee by 6 pm (AEST) Friday 30 October 2026 to allow them to be considered.

Submissions to the redistribution can be lodged by:

All comments on suggestions received by the lodgement deadline will be published to this page on or before Monday 2 November 2026.

Please note that while the names of individuals and organisations that lodge written comments on suggestions will be published, signatures and personal details (including email and phone numbers) will be removed prior to any publication.
