Members of the public were invited to submit written objections relating to the proposed redistribution from Friday 18 October 2024.

Objections may concern one or more federal electoral divisions and may be about:

• names of federal electoral divisions,
• boundaries of federal electoral divisions, or
• the names and boundaries of federal electoral divisions.

In writing an objection about the names of federal electoral divisions, members of the public may find it helpful to consider:

• Information about the names of existing federal electoral divisions,
• origins of the names for electoral divisions which are no longer in use.

In developing an objection about the boundaries of a federal electoral division, members of the public may find it helpful to consider:

• Profiles of current electoral divisions
• Maps and spatial data of current federal electoral divisions
• Enrolment projections and enrolment data

Objections must be received by the Northern Territory augmented Electoral Commission by 6pm ACST Friday 15 November 2024 to allow them to be considered.
