House of Representatives declarations

The House of Representatives candidates for each of the 150 divisions around Australia will be declared at 12noon on Friday 2 November by the Divisional Returning Officer at separate events. This will be followed by a double randomisation draw for ballot paper positions. A fact sheet on how the draw for positions on the House of Representatives ballot papers is conducted is available.

Senate declarations

Senate candidates for all States and Territories will be declared at 12noon on Friday 2 November by the Australian Electoral Officer (State Manager) for that State or Territory at an event in each capital city.

This will be followed by a double randomisation draw for positions on the Senate ballot paper. A fact sheet on how the draw for positions on the Senate ballot paper is conducted is available.
